I havent post here in a while
I am still getting to know more about the nature of God and the nature of women. Sandi is a great teacher. We do have our moments. But that is life. So I will try to share more later, about the love affair we are discovering with God.
May He Bless You

I will be posting a synopsis of the wedding message on my Christiandays site as well as pictures. http://groups.msn.com/Christiandays I can't get the blogger photo editor to work on this computer.

Baptism Sept. 18/06
I was baptised today, 5 years after coming to Christ. I was originally baptized as a Catholic baby, but never as an adult Christian. Praise God.
Something changed when I came out of the water. I can't explain exactly but something.
Praise God.
Something makes me want to share the gospels of Jesus.
Praise God.

My daughter is driving me Insane. Insaaaaaaaaane I tell you. She wants to marry the bipolar psycho. No way i will not sign for this. Forget it and of course I am the bad guy and the source of all her problems.
ack
This is not what i signed on for.
And I slept through my shift at the plastics plant as well. I'll probably catch royal ^%$$ for it monday. This has been a completely crazy day. Nuts like I don't believe.
Okay I am having one of those " please let me fall into a 5 year coma and wake up at the end of the world" kind of days.
Now I'll just start drooling and babbling like a moron.
Sleep time and maybe a fresh perspective in the morning.

Why go to Church?
I had to share this one.
Why go to Church?
Why go to Church?
If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this! If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it. If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope! Why Go To Church?
A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.
"This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:
"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals But I do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!" When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible!
Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

A day many stop and reflect.
Today I reflected on praise and how I don't do enough of it.
I find I am often complaining about what is wrong. I forget to thank Him for all that is good in my life.
So give Him a little more praise today.

I haven't been online for a few days. It's been a bit of a hectic weekend. by the time I actually got some space to clear my head it seemed almost impossible to quiet down and try to hear God's voice. But I did manage to.
I'm actually getting ready to go to work now.
Although it's a noisy factory it's somewhat of a peace job. People don't complain alot there, they just do thier work. It's good when people don't complain, I've been alot of places where that's all people like to do.
It made me wonder what if we all took the energy we expell in being negative and did something positive. I think we might see a very powerful chain reaction.
Think about it.
So until later
God bless you all

New Job
So I started a new job recently. The inventor I worked for has had to let us go. I work making sterilite containers. Actually the machines make them I just take them off the line and put stickers on them. Nothing too exciting but it is the beginning of a changed life. So I put my heart into it as Jesus would have me do.

Lately
Lately I just haven't been in blogging mode. I just thought I would log on and see what my fingers came up with.
Ever feel like a stranger in your own town. I didn't grow up here and it's places like this that make you feel just how anonymous you are in the city.
I'm still praying for my daughter. I hope she comes back to God soon. And Sandi, she's having a challenge at work.
Me well I'm on the verge of what feels like a new life.
So..
God bless

The Lord's Prayer
THIS MAKES SENSE AND MORE PEOPLE SHOULD FEELTHIS WAYThe Lord’s Prayer is not allowed in most public schools anymore becausethe word “God” is mentioned....A kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer.I liked it.
Now I sit me down in schoolWhere praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.
If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.
Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That’s no offense; it’s a freedom scene.
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.
For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.
In silence alone we must meditate,
God’s name is prohibited by the state.
We’re allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.
They’ve outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the ‘unwed daddy,’ our Senior King.
It’s “inappropriate” to teach right from wrong,
We’re taught that such “judgments” do not belong.
We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.
It’s scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school’s a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

Three Trees
Sometimes we get what we need and not what we want..........
<> Once there were 3 trees on a hill in the woods. They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the 1st tree said, "Someday, I hope to be a treasure chest. I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems and be decorated with intricate carvings. Everyone would see my beauty."The 2nd tree said, "Someday, I will be a mighty ship. I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of other world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull." Finally, the 3rd tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest. People will see me on top of the hill and look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching. I will be the greatest tree of all time, and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreamswould come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees. One came to the 1st tree and said, "This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter," and he began cutting it down. The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest. At the 2nd tree, one of the other woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree. I should be able to sell it to the shipyard." The 2nd tree was happy, because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship. When the woodsmen came upon the 3rd tree, the tree was frightened, because it knew that, if it is cut down, its dream would not come true. One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree, so I'll take this one," and he cut it down.
When the 1st tree arrived at the carpenter's, he was made into a feed box for animals, placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for. The 2nd tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat. His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end.The 3rd tree was cut into large pieces and leftalone in the dark. The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.
Then one filtered day, a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth, and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree. The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do. The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.
Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree. One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water, a great storm arose, and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe. The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace," and the storm stopped. At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.
Finally, someone came and got the third tree. It was carried through the streets, and the crowd mocked the man who was carrying it.Finally, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill. When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that, when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you. If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts. Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined. We don't always know what God's plans are for us. We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best Keep it moving...pass it on, so it could inspire more people. Sometimes the heart sees what the eyes can't.
GOD BLESS . . .

Waiting
My parents were supposed to come down from Toronto this weekend but dad called me at work to say that my gran was dying and not expected to last the next few days. She's 96.
It feels kind of strange really, she was a big part of my growing up. Although she lived in Vancouver and us in Toronto she always came once or twice a year. we always had fun. When I was little I used to rub her back. She taugh me how to waltz. There's a lot of memories going on right now. We grew apart some over the past few years and it hurts to know that I won't have the chance to say goodbye. It's making me think about what's really important and all that stuff. She's not really concious.
Well I hope she's going to a better place.
After that I really don't know what to say. I feel kind of empty. I guess it's been a hectic time the past litle while. Time for that one on one time with God I keep talking about.
Anyhow
Goodnite

Walking to work
So last Thursday I was driving over to a friend's place and had to take a backroad detour due to construction. All of a sudden I hear a loud bang and the car stalls. I get out to see what the problem is and there is my gas tank lying about 10 feet behind my car. Ouch. I'm trying to get the town to pay as they didn't grade the detour.
So I am walking to work this week. No biggie, as long as I get picked up at least halfway while hitchhiking. I usually do. My ride today talked about trying to stay healthy and enjoying life at the same time. It was a short but inspiring conversation.
The walk often gives me time to be quiet and pray. I rarely get much of that these days. It seems just when I need to be alone and meditate something comes up. I really should take that time and listen to what God is trying to say. I can't say the past several months have been easy but I can start to see a light at the end of the tunnel. We've been doing healing room classes at church on Thurday evenings and we are working on breaking the soul ties to pretty much everything that is oppressive iour lives. That gets pretty heavy but it is worth it. The difficulty comes in trying to put what we are learning into practice in out everyday lives. That has actually been the focus of the "walking mediatation" the past few days.
Also not being afraid to ask God and not have the enemy whispering "what if it isn't His will".
We are learning to just carry on during attacks. Not allowing ourselves to get locked up in a metaphorical cave, just persevere. And keep praising and glorifying because it keeps the enemy confused.
Anyhow I'll sign off for now because it's late and I need to sleep.
Please keep praying for my daughter.
God Bless

Monday
Well father's day is past and i am unwisely taking the morning off work. I had some errands to run in Waterloo. I also have to get my Healing Room's homework done tonight too.
I had both of my girls yesterday. Well Fiona hung out with me for a few hours, Then back to the *^&$!!@ boyfriend's place. She does not seem at all happy there, so I'm praying that it's only a matter of time before she comes home. Jodie (my little one) stayed late and we went to a mini waterfall in a local eco park. It was fun But I couldn't swim on account of my damaged toe.
Our service was small yet inspiring. Pastor Dave seemed very down at the low attendance. It was the 3 year anniversary of our becoming Bethel Life Center, We used to be Bethel Pentacostal Church. It was also a year since we said goodbye to Mother Esther, Pastors late wife. All in all it was a time of reflection.
Our guest speaker was Rev. Wilmer Davidson, an evangelical Anglican minister who has been praying for revival in this area for almost 40 years. He has been preaching for just over 50. It was a very inspiring message about the presence and promise of the Holy Spirit in our lives. And it fit in as I have been praying for baptism in the spirit for quite some time now.
In reflection I have been looking closely at the people I know who Jesus has called home this past year. I can hear Him saying that it's time to repent, take up our crosses and move forward. A generation is passing and it's our time to reach out to the next generation.
So please join me in prayer for this revival and for the children who need to know about Jesus. Pray that their ears will be open to hear His word and that there eyes will be open to see His glory.
God Bless
